STOP SOPA NOW!!!!!

Think about your website....even if you don't have one, let's just say for now that you do....and a large portion of your users are Americans. They are allowed to post links and materials that go against the criteria of the Stop Online Piracy Act and then, since you "didn't do enough to stop it," your site winds up being blocked to American users.....Guess what that means? Your traffic plummets, your services get more expensive because you lost a large portion of your market which prompts the other users that are in other countries around the world (such as Russia, China, Japan, the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, etc) to slowly stop using your services because the prices increased. It means that you'd have to shut your site down. But why should you do that? Hmm? It's free enterprise, man! This law has the potential to shut down businesses that rely on the Internet because the American government would have the ability to block websites just because of either a few trolls or some people who want to be able to express what the feel or what they want to share but can't do it any other way.

This is why you must support this effort! >:O Petition the government, lobby Congress, do something to get them to WAKE THE FUCK UPso that they don't wind up screwing the country over even more than they already did! What is it, do they want to be China or something? If they want to be Chinese, why don't they just surrender the fuckin' country to fuckin' China?! It's tons easier, dammit!

Look, let's face it....there's a shitload of websites actually blacking themselves out in protest of SOPA and possibly PIPA.....this is the way that Congress is gonna kill the Internet! :O Really! I swear, half of the Internet's websites out there are gonna be down for a while....so that Congress has to decide which to kill: the bill or the Internet and markets that rely on it, especially in the entertainment industry. So.....help us out here, okay? We don't need this bullshit happening! We've got enough with the wars and everything, why add more to it?

I'm not sure which sites I wanna black out but for GOD'S SAKES......and everyone else's sanity, DON'T DO THIS TO US, CONGRESS!

In other news, I'll probably tell you more about my views of it when I do this radio show thing I'm trying to work on. X_x I'm hoping everyone listens in. Word of warning, I had set it to explicit, so I can curse freely without needing to censor myself. It's on BlogTalkRadio, for free, and I'm happy I could start one up....hopefully.

Anyways, working on a photoshoot, not getting kicked out (i have my apartment FINALLY....don't remember if I shared that with you guys yet....), aaaand other things. I'll let you know how it goes after the nukes of my world have hit and the fallout has settled.....

Barely There (Feeling Vague Freedom)

Welllllll, I'm still alive...surprisingly. And I haven't been online in ages since like.....I was on RL television, where I participated in an interview for a local news station's morning nonprofit spotlight. Oh, did I mention that I was on TEEVEE?! And that I had gone to Harrisburg and helped with a presentation that the ENTIRE Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Committee thinger people actually enjoyed?! A lot has happened since I had to leave college.

Yes, college. I was asked to go home and stay there for a while.....because I spent too much time on Second Life and now I'm paying for it with half a year's worth of agony with Mom and Dad. Time well spent, to be honest, because they have the BOOZE! And free laundry and food and heat and water and sewage and garbage.....

I had just turned 21 this past Halloween/Samhain, and I was supposed to move into MY OWN APARTMENT then, but that stupid freak snowstorm happened and the resulting damage cut out the power to my apartment building. And with no power, they couldn't really process me. I could've moved in the next day, but there were availability issues with the muscular assistance.

Buuut, I was able to enjoy Ghost Adventures lately. Zak, Aaron and Nick....ZOMG, not just cute but also BADASS! (Honeyyyy......significant-other-of-mine.....It's appreciation of their good looks and personality. You don't have to worry about us.) Because of them, I really do want to take up paranormal investigating, which means I need a digital recorder, a still camera, an EMF detector, and a video camera.....but Mom and Dad won't get them for me so I can do this stuff. They're too scared of real life ghost activity (Dad especially), plus Mom's too Catholic for this. I mean, I know that the Church believes in this, that they acknowledge that it's real. But I want to help others know that this is real, that they can start believing too. Plus, why else would I be born on Halloween 21 years ago? LOL! :3

So, tomorrow (from the date of this post), I'm moving and I'm bringing my computer with me, as well as my own TEEVEE and furniture.....and LAMPS! Gawsh, I'm getting my own place! I'm so excited! I can't get online just yet--there's gonna be a small delay there because I can't afford Interwebz just yet. Social Security is being an ASS, especially what with my job and all.

Yes, this past September, I was hired at a specific (anonymous) retail store; those who are friends with me on my RL Facebook account know who I work for. I'm in Customer Service and oftentimes, I help people out on the sales floor. Only problem is that this job has me hating the weekends now: since so many people are off during the weekends, they just have to come on Saturday and Sunday and BLOCK my pathways without much regard. It's a pain in the ass, and with so many people shopping there at once, it gets very overwhelming and nerve-wracking. I wind up being antisocial during those days because of the size of the crowds practicing one of my pet peeves ("Get OUT of the WAY, motherfucker, before I ram this fucking cart into you! I'm working here and just because you're looking at something doesn't mean you have to stand in the MIDDLE of the main trackway with the damn cart blocking the next aisle!" Yeah, I can't shout that but it feels good to get that off my chest.) and my getting behind on put-backs. You know, those items that people initially wanted to buy but decide not to while at the registers because it's too much or too expensive or impractical? Yeah, I put those back--plus ALL of the items that people don't bother to put back where they got it FROM! Most of these lazy folks are kids, but thanks to Dad's way of teaching me respect towards others, he has me putting items back where they belong, with their brothers and sisters also for sale. So, I know these kids haven't been programmed to act the same way but it doesn't hurt to teach them this behavior: "Put it back where you found it." Just saying this to your kids will help me not go overly OCD because they will help contribute to society by not leaving things around. It's like keeping your house clean: the cleaning chemicals go there, and the food goes in the pantry and the toys go into the toybox..... This is a necessary skill that they will use sooner or later, unless you don't care about them living in a pig sty of a place of their own. So, in comparison of practice and behavior, I'm actually a much better person than them. (Yay, narcissism! FOLLOW ME, DAMMIT!)

With a shitload of items packed, including my own microwave, toaster oven, bakeware, set of sharp knives, etc..... (YAY! I can bake my own goodies!) I am typing here while praying for Social Security to improve their standards. They're like, "Oh, since she's living with her parents and they're not using her money on her, along with her having a job that may or may not be over $500 a month, let's just slash her share in half. That way, they can be motivated to do something with her money!" Ye, government! For every dollar I earn, they cut $0.50 out from my share of the tax money. This must be amended, what with the $1,999.99 limit in net worth (like amount in the bank plus assets) and all. Maybe the legislators could stop padding their own paychecks and start increasing the limit for Social Security to $2,500 US. Not that I will join the Occupy movement.

I actually have concerns about that movement: this movement shouldn't be all "anti-capitalism," which is what the communists and anarchists all want, but rather, an opposition to the current principles of the country's capitalists and government. Yeah, the Man may be strapped for cash but COME ON! The members of the middle class (of which I'm a member of--duh!) are the ones who provide the money for their paychecks. But the wealthy members of society (or perhaps anti-society?) are the ones who provide for their campaigns....why? Probably to safeguard their money, leisure activities and business practices..... But there's a reason why they should be taxed more: they can afford to pay for the mudslinging campaigns (which, for some reason, resembles political mud wrestling....WOOHOO REDNECKS!) as well as the higher taxes.... Because they're RICH!

However, this "anti-capitalism" cry for help is a double-edged sword: there are those who work hard and get what they earn....and then there are those who want to get what they haven't earned due to some (non)sense of entitlement. That's why competition is healthy, so that we can do our best so that we can get what we deserve; but the lazy asses who like to sue for dumb-butt reasons want to get by on a hard-working man's salary by doing as little as possible. That's why communism is actually really unfair, because if two people work in a factory in a communist country and one works to do double the minimum amount of work, while the other one just barely does the minimum, the two will still get the same amount of pay, no matter what. That's what promotes laziness: equal treatment. I know, it sounds back-asswards, but it's true. Don't we all want to do our best? Don't we all want to feel that we achieved something? That's why capitalism is good for us, but only in the hands of those who are not misguided pigs of war and oil who crave more power and popularity. That means YOU, Republican fuckheads in office; you're just scared of how society has changed that you are blaming Obama for what Bush did! The members of the LGBTQI community are people, and therefore, are humans! It's not a sin to love someone regardless of their gender, now is it? Jeez, lighten up a bit and then everyone will be happier.

Anyways, time for a more positive ending: this past spring saw the release of the third installment of NutcaseNightmare's :the game: series......titled Reimagine :the game:!!!! It is featured on Newgrounds and totally lots of fun; certainly different from the past two versions, what with all of the problem solving skills needed to "beat" each level. And if you pay attention to the end credits.....OMGOMGOMG! I'm listed as one of the BETA TESTERS! Yay me! xD thank goodness for friendships, lolololol! I just need to jack his keys and unlock the rest so that I can get the other medals and things like that. :3 LOL! My "official" review hasn't been posted yet but I can tell that my score for it will be 9000+/10 stars.

Anyways, that's all I can reveal for now. More to come when I finally obtain my own Interwebz and get caught up on EVERYTHING in Second Life....Did I tell you that Mom and Dad want me to outright ragequit SL, which is why they deprive me of this.....basic need? Nope? I didn't? Okay, just making sure, because I don't wanna repeat myself.... LOL!

Real life, Second Life and Insanity in Both

Yeah, I'm still on Second Life, not as addicted to horses....this time, is teh seckz on a fantasy roleplaying sim--rape and forced sex fantasies. Now, before you go and rant and rage at me for roleplaying rape and sex, I must point out a few things:

1. It's ROLEPLAYING!!!!! It's not....real. It's virtual kinks and fetishes! Hell, there are even CRAZIER fetishes out there! Just look at my F-list and hover over each of them for an explanation. See? There's vore and other such things, like "Watersports" that involves urinating....UGH! I may be nuts but I'm not THAT nuts......
2. Even though it has the theme of rape and forced sex and even torture, I, as a person, do not condone these acts of violence as being okay. I understand that there are people out there who are victimized and violated by rape, sexual harassment, sexual violence, torture, and other injustices. I agree with those people that it is nightmarish in the sense that you are violated against your will. However, I stand by point #1 with an addition to that: this is all consensual after all, but people are roleplaying it out as rape and forced sex and torture; it's not real rape or sex or torture. It's a roleplaying theme with dark urban tones and to add to the credibility, I don't always do the rape and sex; I also roleplay following a storyline. Much like I do in other places, like Insilico and Siden.

With that all stated, don't think any less of me for fantasizing being attacked in a horrible fashion.....I don't even want to be hurt that way. It is a way from my character to react; she doesn't have to consent to the action, even though I usually do......

Another part of Second Life I'm quite enjoying is Assassin's Grid, a game that's sort of Mafia Wars style but different: you "claim" lands on various sims like a gang "claims" land as part of their territory, you harvest items from them and use those items to craft things to help you survive longer or to make your land stronger. You can form teams and operate under factions like "Deathslayers" and "Assassins".....but I usually do it OOC unless there's some roleplay that I can incorporate into it....mostly because of inspiration and there's other roleplaying going on.... but there were times when you have to just LOL at the insanity of SL..... Like in the most recent of sim claims, there's a Tokyo City.....and when we arrived, a friend I had teamed up with, she said this:

Now, I have to agree with her--SL = Sex Life. It's where you are in a glorified chat room referred to as a Virtual World.....and you can fuck people on it. It is Sex....and virtual.....cybersex plus porn and a dude walking around with his pants falling off and you just can't help comparing the prim junk he's wearing to a lightly tanned golden turd sculpted smooth.
Yet, AG (Assassin's Grid, I'm with the Assassins, teamed up with Danja and with the Urbanites) is great to play, especially when you figure out "gf" doesn't mean "girlfriend" but rather "good fight"....Yeah, it's hard to get started all the time, especially since people keep killing you all the time because you're easy to kill and power up from..... After dealing with a death at the sim of LOL (I kid you not, there is such a sim!), the following happened:

I was obviously kidding about it....but it was true! Like I was working on a blog and all of a sudden, she showed up and I was moving windows around for optimal multitasking, but I saw the messages and she assassinated me! While I was distracted! Ugh, frustrating! But I was able to take on some great sims! And some I selected solely based on names..... :3

On a seperate note, I have to thank NicoleX Moonwall SOOOO MUCH for the opportunity for being in a video made in SL!!!!! It was so awesome! Of course, I was wearing an outfit from Graves Latex and Leather.....and hair from FallnAngels Creations.....with skin as a prize from the Twisted Hunt and using a dance HUD that was given to me by a friend.....but it turned out to be awesome. It was mostly set on a sim that was just very cool, the Spencer Museum of Art and it's so steampunkish and dark and surreal that I looooove it! Helicopter sheep, living prims, bouncing easy chairs......it's just the place for me to hang out and think of the beauty of the decay of life gone past and the power of imagination gone out of control..... So, I'm one of the dancers in the video and a couple of friends are also in the video.....The result of all of us together dancing in a spot on that one sim is Spirit's Dream, a very surreal trip through music and imagination.

Second Semester, SL Trimesters, Naughty Pixels and Much Moar COWBELL!

Alrighty, looks like we've got an update for you.....One, I'm still on SL....don't know for how much longer but, dammit, I'm staying! No more missing out on cool things, no more missing out on fun....I AM KEEPING MY PIXELS INSIDE AND I WILL DUCT TAPE THEM THERE!

After that random nonsense brought on by lack of medication (they wore off by this early early early morning time), I shall go through a few other updates.

~~Liquid Renegade is currently an Amaretto Breedables horse ranch being run by me....I've offered my SL sis to sell them under my brand but she hasn't answered me back yet. Yet it gets kinda crazy in here, considering how LOADS of people pay INSANE amounts of L$s for certain horses. I've battled for less, but my sis seems to get the better ones for some reason. There's also the goddamn demon horses I soooo want desperately! Like...."I'm a demon and I wantz muh demonz horsey plz! I can haz it fer frees? DERP DERP!" It's insane! They do rare-as-hell-freezing-over stuff, like pegasus and unicorn and robocorn (robotic unicorn for those not in-the-know) and charmed and albino and....it's insane! All I've got are horses waiting for teh seckz so that I can sell off their offspring in pixelated crates of hay to whomever cares or wants one. Plus, it looks like we have to start selling off some of our actual horses while we figure out which ones do the best and which ones do the worst. My Silver Arabian gamble turned out to be a bust....so I should probably start selling off all the lamer-resulting ones. I should also stud the females for like.....I dunno, 2k L$s per stud? With an extra 500 for the bundle if they wish to keep it?

Anyways......I may have started late, but the whole OHMAHGUH HORSE thing may be a bit out of control. >_<;; But it does bring some money in. I said SOME. It's not something that I can build an empire on but it's a start. I just gotta learn how to do sculpties and shit and textures in SL before I start doing real outfits..... So for now, Liquid Renegade is doing some ranching and auctioning; you'll most likely see my shit at Mile Hi Stables and Auctioning, where it's realllll good. I'll be trying to do the auctions that Labyrinth Darkwatch or IceBlade Moorsider will be auctioneering at. They aren't like, professionals but they're damn good, Ice especially, since he managed to get a FallnAngels horse sold for a shitload of money! Same for the other ones that usually go for like....few hundred Ls...maybe even a thousand? But when Taevion Cedrus' bro shows up, break out your credit cards cuz he is a lean mean bidding machine and Ice keeps ramping it up. But Dutchh is pretty cool. And we all wind up having fun! \o/

~~FallnAngels Creations finally put out an outfit named after me--sorta. It's them Nede Silks on the Silks Floor of the Mainstore. And I have to tell you, their products are amazing! They might be a bit different from what you're used to in America, but if you like to try Chinese/Japanese/other different foods and you enjoy other ethnic groups like Indian, Chinese, Asian (in general), even Elven/Fantasy/Goth(ish) clothes, furniture, skins, and hair, well then you'll love Falln! Even the owners and the group is awesome! There are people from many different backgrounds and you'll learn to accept each of them if you're that....uneasy about different cultures and lifestyles.

So, yeah, since you get some perks as a FallnAngel, you wind up squeeing as you see your name put on an outfit. Mine, as it turns out, was the Nede Silks; I know, I'm Eden on there, but for reals, guys, "Eden" was already used for another outfit....So Azriel decided to so something different, by doing my name BACKWARDS. Yeah, backwards, like me! xD And I also got the entire set of colors to enjoy so I have to really really say it again, THANK YOU SO MUCH, AZ!!!!!! I enjoyed how it is different and not the usual "silk in front, silk in back" but rather....Four corners, plus skimpy top! ♥ It's very well done, and very cute, too!

~~I've been on this blog, Flickr, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter (200 followers!), Digg, Formspring, Livestream, Ustream, BlogTV, Runescape, Newgrounds, and I can't seem to remember the rest of them. But from what I know, I've got a lot of accounts out there under the screen name "LadyEden1337" and I'm telling you now that I've got another one: Tumblr. It's not that big or that great yet but if you follow me on there, you might be able to get stuff that you don't see on the other accounts....might, not will. I can't guarantee you that you didn't see anything there that you haven't seen on here or on another place.....
